Peter Murphy

Operation Manager (Managing Director)

Peter has around 35 years of experience in the building industry, having worked on a broad range of projects including commercial, health, industrial, institutional, and residential buildings. His broad technical knowledge, tradesman background and project experience mean he is a consistent contributor to constructability and risk management and can address site construction and management issues.

Some of his experience include:

Chintan Mehta

Project Manager (Director)

Chintan has over 12 years’ experience in the building industry, assisting with Project management, contract management and execution. Chintan is responsible for the delivery of all Kematch projects with the Site Manager, to ensure the completion of the project is on time, on budget, to the quality specified and hassle free.

Some of his experience include:

  • Shepparton Hospital Upgrade and Compliance - $26 M  

  • Derrimut Data Centre - $96 M            

  • Seek HQ - $112 M      

  • Melbourne Airport Hotel - $116 M

  • Dendy Park Cricket & Soccer Pavilion – $4.4M

Rhett Stevenson

Senior Site Manager

Rhett entered the construction industry as a carpenter and now has over 23 years of experience in the industry. Rhett is a registered builder in his own right and has joined the team as a Senior Site Manager.

Paul Bettiol

Senior Site Manager

Paul has more than 30 years of experience in Melbourne’s construction industry working on large scale development sites for reputed developers such as Mirvac, high-end residential, numerous commercial projects across retail as well as car dealerships. Having run his own construction company in the past, Paul certainly brings a wealth of experience to the Kematch Team.

Darryl Thomas

Senior Site Manager

Darryl commenced his carpentry apprenticeship in 1989 at Kematch under the mentorship of it’s founder Kevin Gannan. Over the years Darryl has worked on multiple sites across Melbourne as a carpenter, leading hand and foreman on projects including The MCG southern stand, Hyatt on Collins, The State Treasury building, The State Library, MSAC, The Victoria Market and multiple Monash, Melbourne and Latrobe university buildings to name a few.

Mark Collins

Site Manager

Mark has more than 20 years of experience working in Melbourne’s construction industry and carpentry. Mark is working in the capacity of Site Manager and carpenter at Kematch.

Gulneet Kaur

Contract Administrator

Gulneet has an architectural background and has undertaken a master’s in architecture. She works autonomously and with authority. She looks after contract administration of projects and assists with estimating.

Rutvik Gondaliya

Estimator

Rutvik has a background in Civil Engineering and Construction Management. He recently started working at Kematch after finishing his Master of Construction Management. His job involves estimating project costs and helping the project manager with various tasks.

Julien O’Shannessy

Foreman

Julien has more than 30 years of experience in carpentry and site management. Julien has been part of the team for over 15 Years, working with Peter Murphy across Europe on projects such as Quicksilver shops, Eurovision set and Cannes Film Festival sets. Julien has vast experience in shop fitting, renovations and extensions with high-end finishes.

Adrian Robinson

Foreman

Adrian has more than 35 years of experience working in Melbourne’s construction industry. His experience includes 12 years of carpentry in domestic sector working for a high-end builder on renovation and extensions projects and has spent the past 20 years working in the commercial sector on public housing, childcares, schools, sporting pavilions and office fit outs.
